Brighton’s Fable is a 20 year old dance music talent who recently made a bid to represent the UK at the Eurovision song contest in a collaboration with Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll. ‘Human Pretending’ is a subversive track with influences of Nine Inch Nails, Bjork and the Prodigy. It has close and siren-like vocals with driving electronica and hammering beats. The track is dark and fierce in it’s arrangement and progression with sudden shifts in sound and structure. It is certainly a track that keeps you on your toes that would have been an interesting entry for Eurovision.
